WT JUNE 2025 MODESTLY accept what YOU do not know
by blondie inpp.
14-19 just some quote and a few comments from me, very, very repetitious.
the gb seems to think that the rank and file came up the years 1914, 1925, 1975, generation (70-80 years from 1914=1994), overlapping generations.

The point of existence and how it refutes the Trinity
by slimboyfat inrowan williams, the former archbishop of canterbury gave an interesting answer to the somewhat stark question, what’s the point of us existing?
as a christian, my starting point is that we exist because the most fundamental form of activity, energy, call it what you like, that is there, is love.
that is, it’s a willingness that the other should be.

Of course it matters, you need to provide undeniable evidence that a miracle worker called jesus was a real person, because if he is a fictional character and the events that he is supposed to have performed including raising himself from the dead are fictional also ,their would be no trinity belief because its all make believe .
Or you know deep down that there is no verified evidence that the jesus character was nothing but a apocalyptic preacher who was killed by the Romans the end, and the rest is mythical.

It's for you to provide the undeniable evidence of a miracle worker called jesus, us atheist/ heretics cant provide evidence for a fictional character and events, its not our responsibility to provide it,
It's for you to provide, and you have failed to do so even though you have been asked to provide it many times, and please not the minimal facts argument.

You would think that a all knowing god who supposedly inspired the bible would have defined himself clearly and in a unambiguous manner ,instead of in a confusing manner that has had and still having people debating if he is a single god with a created son or three persons in one where they are all equal..
Both versions can't be right but they can both be wrong.

Are There any JW Teaching that you DO Agree With?
by NotFormer in(apologies for the typo in the title.
"teaching" should read "teachings".
i misread vanderhoven7's most recent post as being the above.

That religions are a snare and a racket.
That is the only thing that jws got spot on.
Religion and its teachings are there to control manipulate and coerce people to believe in fictional characters and events and to take people's time and money.

by ElderBerry ini’m still an elder and i consider myself jw light.
as my fellow elders are.
we don’t throw our weight around like elders used to in the past, it’s all very easy going these days.

Jw lite seems to be a modern day version of Pascal's wager, just in case they are right and also that they maybe they are wrong, so I will edge my bet.

No first cause ,a monk aquinas who used it to reason to point to the existence of a god.
Prof Brian cox was questioned about this when he was explaining what that the James Webb telescope was able to look back to about 300 million years after the inflation event and stars etc were starting to form, his reply to the question was "we don't know "" but they do have theories eg that theirs a multiverse, you can't disprove that theory, but you also can't admit that we just don't know, but experts in that field can admit that they don't know yet. So no evidence of a first cause.

A inflation event some 13:9 billion years ago.
And what was responsible for that event?
Above my pay grade
Astrophysicist can provide a explanation for the inflation event.
Neil deGrasse Tyson
Professor Brian cox
Also Lawrence Krauss a theoretical physicist and cosmologist
Other physicists are available.
